Meredith McDonough is an esteemed theater director with a rich history in developing both new plays and new musicals. As the former Associate Artistic Director at Actors Theatre of Louisville and Director of New Works at TheatreWorks in Palo Alto, she has directed numerous world premieres and collaborated with Colman Domingo, Taylor Mac, Chelsea Marcantel, Steven Dietz, kimber lee, Sam Marks, Curtis Moore and Tom Mizer, Deborah Stein, Mat Smart, Kim Rosenstock, Will Connelly and Michael Mitnick, Adam Gwon, Chris Miller and many more. Her leadership roles at The Orchard Project and the National Alliance for Musical Theatre, along with her service on the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society board, highlight her significant contributions to contemporary theater. McDonough holds a B.S. from Northwestern University and an M.F.A. from the University of California, San Diego. She is based in Brooklyn, NY.
